Pathfinder Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is offering two scholarships to qualified female students for the 2020-2021 academic year:
1. Pathfinder is offering (1) $2,000 scholarship to a deserving female student attending an accredited college or university authorized to confer baccalaureate degrees within the United States. The field of study is open and not specified. Those applying will be first or second year students in August 2020 and have been accepted at an accredited college or university. 2. Pathfinder is offering (1) $1,000 scholarship to a deserving female student attending an accredited, licensed or state approved technical, vocational or community college within California. The field of study is open and not specified. Those applying must be a high school graduate, or GED equivalent, or women re-entering the educational system. The applicant must be accepted for enrollment in the fall of 2020. For eligibility criteria and application information, please see the attached Press release.
All applications must be completed online by May 10, 2020.
The Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF) is ABWA’s national educational fund. It is one of the most highly respected grant and scholarship funds in the country and is a 501(c)3 charitable trust and public foundation.
The National Officers and Trustees of the Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund (SBMEF) serve as the selection board for the scholarship.
